West Des Moines Looking for Suspect in Armed Robbery
Suspect who allegedly robbed video store got away with undisclosed amount of money.

West Des Moines police say a man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash in an armed robbery at Family Video, 1710 Grand Ave., about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
Witnesses told authorities a man wearing a dark green coat, orange scarf and sunglasses was armed with a knife and demanded money from the clerk. He was last seen leaving the store and going eastbound on Vine Street, according to a statement from police Lt. Jim Barrett.
No one was hurt during the robbery, according to the statement.

Polk County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the robbery.
