West Des Moines Man Sues Over Injuries from Bar Fight

The man is suing for injuries he claims he suffered in a 2010 bar fight at the Last Chance Saloon on an Indian reservation in North Dakota.

An Iowa man is suing over injuries he allegedly received in a bar fight on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, according to a North Dakota newspaper.

The Jamestown Sun says Ron Carpenter, of West Des Moines, has filed a federal complaint against Joshua Luger and the Last Chance Saloon for the October 2010 incident.

The newspaper reports Carpenter claims he suffered severe injuries to his head and face when he was assaulted by Luger at the bar in Solen, N.D. He says the bar was negligent for serving Luger liquor and failing to provide adequate security.
