West Des Moines Police Investigating Motorcycle Accident

are continuing their investigation of a Friday afternoon motorcycle accident in the 2600 block of E.P. True Parkway that sent the driver of the motorcycle to an area hospital, according to a news release.

The driver of the motorcycle was eastbound on E.P. True when he lost control, left the roadway, hit a sign and crashed in the intersection of South 26th Street and E.P. True Parkway.

The driver, whose name is not being released by police, was taken to an area hospital by . His condition is unknown.

West Des Moines accident investigators are still working the accident to determine the cause of the crash.
