West Des Moines Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Theft and Forgery Suspects
Victim's billfold was stolen while she was shopping; credit cards used at several area department stores.
The West Des Moines Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying several theft and forgery suspects, according to a press release.
On Feb. 22, the victim in this incident was shopping at TJ Maxx at 2900 University Ave. when someone stole her wallet. Over the next several hours, the victim's credit cards were used for several fraudulent transactions at area department stores.
Four suspects were captured on video following two of the transactions.

Anyone with information on the identify of these suspects should contact Detective Scott Gass at the West Des Moines Police Department at 222-3592 or Polk County Crime Stoppers at 223-1400.
Information results in an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to a $1,000. Tips may be annonymously reported to Polk County Crime Stoppers by calling 515-223-1400, submitting the tip online at polkcountycrimestoppers.org or texting the tip to “CRIMES” (274637) keyword.
