West Des Moines Schools Discuss Bullying, Harassment Prevention

School district's Tuesday Becoming a Learning Community Committee meeting is open to the public.

Westridge Elementary Assistant Principal Janelle Green will lead a discussion on bullying and harassment prevention at a Tuesday meeting of West Des Moines Community Schools’ Building a Learning Community Committee, according to a press release.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 .m. in the Fairmeadows Room at the Learning Resource Center, 3550 Mills Civic Pkwy. The meeting is open to the public.

The WDMCS Becoming a Learning Community Committee is made up of both district staff and parents. The group serves as both the district’s school improvement advisory and equity committee. Its purpose is to make recommendations to the school board based on analysis of the district’s needs assessment data on:
