West Des Moines Schools Unveil New Web Site

A news release from West Des Moines Community Schools:

Life is happening at the West Des Moines Community Schools and the district's new website celebrates all of its amazing diversity. A more in-depth staff directory, online calendar integration and news features are just a few of the upgrades visitors will notice at www.wdmcs.org.

 The district’s main goal with the new site is to provide better communication to its different audiences including, parents, students, staff and the community. Some of the new features on the site include:

• Social media feeds
• A more robust staff directory
• A friendlier navigation
• An updated design
• A more user-friendly online calendar that feeds from the CIML calendar 

Stage two of the website’s revival is the individual elementary school sites and stage three will look at the secondary schools.
