West Des Moines Snow Parking Ban Goes Into Effect at 7 p.m.
An emergency parking ban for snow removal will remain in effect until 5 p.m. Wednesday, West Des Moines officials said.
The city of West Des Moines' emergency parking ban for snow removal will go into effect at 7 p.m. Tuesday and will remain in effect until 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The emergency parking ban applies to all streets in West Des Moines. Cars ilegally parked on the street during this time are subject to a $50 fine and/or towing.
If this storm has a large accumulation of snow and/or visibility problems, the parking ban may be extended. Please re-visit the city's website, call the Snow Hotline at 273-0766, and/or watch the news for updates.
