West Des Moines Students Clear First Hurdle in National Merit Scholar Competition
Seniors from Valley and Dowling made the cut in academic competition.
Seventeen West Des Moines high-schoolers have been named National Merit Scholar Semifinalists and will now compete with students nationwide for $2,500 scholarships.
