The West Des Moines Valley Tigers put a halt to the Ankeny Hawks Friday at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. The 14-3 win sends Valley back to the Dome next Friday to face Bettendorf for the state title.
At the UNI-Dome Friday, No. 1-ranked West Des Moines Valley put the stop on Ankeny for any hope of a state title, 14-3.
Up next for Valley is Bettendorf on Nov. 18 at the UNI-Dome.
Ankeny ends the season with a 11-2 record, while Valley holds a 13-0 streak going into the final game.
