West Des Moines Valley Takes Class 4A State Title Against Bettendorf 17-14

West Des Moines Valley beat the Bettendorf Bulldogs in the Class 4A championship game with a final score of 17-14. The Tigers last won the state championship in 2008.

At the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, the No. 1-ranked got a late touchdown after a key forced fumble to take the lead and held on to win the state 4A title against the Bettendorf Bulldogs.

The final score was 17-14, with the Tigers' Tyus Mason winning MVP for the game with 2 rushing TDs and a late interception.

Valley finished the year undefeated and reclaimed the state title it last brought home in 2008.
