Wheels of the Week: Love Your Ride? We Want to Feature it on West Des Moines Patch
We're not just looking for classic cars. Newer ones work, too. So do motorcycles, bicycles, your kid's trike and even your riding lawn mower. We want your photos and a word or two about why you love your wheels.

Self disclosure: My first car was an Oldsmobile Cutlass with a 350 cubic inch engine and 4-barrel carburetor that would go from 0 to 60 so fast that anyone remotely connected to me realized that it would be big, big trouble.
It was. I got speeding tickets to prove it and the price of gas caused me to “trade down” to a fuel-efficient model before that slick car could get me in deeper with the law. But there was nothing like it, even for a non-motorhead like me who only bought it because it had style.
Enough about me. We want to hear about your wheels. That's why West Des Moines Patch is looking to launch a “Wheels of the Week” feature. We can’t do it without you. So if you love your wheels, we want to know about it.

We’re not just looking for cars, or even classic car. If you’re driving a hybrid you tricked up to deliver even greater fuel efficiency, we want to know about that, too. Motorcycles, bicycles, unicycles, mopeds, quads, dirt bikes, tractors, riding mowers or even your kid’s tricycles or Power Wheels work, too.
If you want your ride featured, it’s easy: Just send me an email at beth.dalbey@patch.com and we’ll post your wheels on West Des Moines Patch.

Or, if you want some instant gratification, hit the green “upload photos and videos” button found just under the photo now and start uploading. It’s as easy as moving the needle on the speedometer on a 350 4-barrel.
