When Does Daylight Saving Time Begin in 2013?

You'll "spring forward," but not just yet.

Don’t get too used to those lighter mornings. You’ll start getting up in the dark again on Sunday, March 10.

Daylight Saving Time officially begins at 2 a.m. that day. Set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed.

It’ll be a small sacrifice for an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day.

This is also a good time to change your smoke-alarm batteries. The West Des Moines Fire Department encourages residents to change their batteries at the same time they change thier clocks.
