Why Are West Des Moines Residents Seeing Red, Feeling Blue?
You might "cuss a blue streak" if this happened to you.

are investigating a rash of complaints from residents who say their vehicles were spray-painted bright blue and, in some cases, covered with eggs that may damage paint if left too long.
At least four incidents have been reported. Police don’t have suspects or witnesses.
In the worst of the cases, a man living near the 300 block of 36th Street told police on Sunday that four of his family’s vehicles were egged and/or spray-painted while legally parked overnight.
It appears that the vandal began spraying at either the front or rear of the car and covered the entire left side with the bright blue paint. One car was egged and painted, two were painted and and fourth was egged.
The same thing happened to a neighbor down the street. Reports were also received from homeowners in the 5300 block of Aspen Drive and the 1400 block of 18th Street.
According to police reports, numerous other vehicles have been egged and/or spray-painted in the last few weeks.
