Why Did the Family of Geese Cross the Road?

Simple: To get to one of the drainage ponds on the north side of Mills Civic Parkway on the Jordan Creek Town Center campus.

Drivers were slamming on the brakes Thursday morning as two groups of geese with fuzzy goslings marched across Mills Civic Parkway near the entrance to Wells Fargo's campus.

One pair of adult geese seemed flustered by the traffic and decided to then walk west in the middle of the street as vehicles funneled around them.

But this pair of parents and their handful of youngsters goose-stepped across the frontage road and through a parking lot toward the closest drainage pondon the Jordan Creek Town Center property, where other geese were already paddling.
