Yaro Dance Company to Present A Winter
Showcase at Waukee High School

YDC Students Perform Contemporary and
Classical Works

DES MOINES, Iowa –
January 19, 2014 – The Yaro Dance Company will present a Winter Showcase at
6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2014 at the Waukee High School Auditorium. The show will
feature dance students from throughout the metro area ranging in ages from 8 –
adult. Live original music will be provided by Patresa Hartman.Tickets are
available at the Iowa Ballet Academy. Adult admission is $10, and students 12
and under are $5.

Yaro Dance Company is a youth ballet company which gives young dancers the
chance to prepare for a professional career in dance and provides high quality
fine arts entertainment for the entire community.

Mission

Yaro Dance Company is a non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate
personal artistic growth for youth while striving for creative excellence in
dance.

Overview

YDC puts on 2 shows per year. Open auditions are held twice a year for
young people age 8 and older. Members of this company are given specialized dance
instruction, with the goal of enriching their dance experience.
