• College Junior Survives Nearly 70-Foot-Fall After Jumping Off Bridge to Avoid Multi-Vehicle Crash (people.com) — A Kansas State University junior was seriously injured after jumping nearly 70 feet from a Highway K‑18 bridge near the East Riley Avenue off-ramp in Ogden to avoid an oncoming vehicle during a four-car crash. Manhattan firefighters used high-angle rescue gear to lift her from below the bridge, and friends say she faces multiple fractures but is expected to recover, with a fundraiser already helping cover her medical needs.
