• Overland Park family creates scholarship fund in son's honor (kctv5.com) — An Overland Park family has created the Andrew Eveloff Memorial Scholarship Fund to support Johnson County Community College students with disabilities, honoring their son's life and challenges with muscular dystrophy. The fund, managed through the JCCC Foundation, will help five students each year and reflects the family's commitment to disability rights and inclusive education in the local community.
• Governor Candidates Square Off in Debate (ksal.com) — Overland Park's Cindy Holscher clashed with Republican Ty Masterson in a fiery Kansas governor debate, arguing she'd cut property taxes by shifting burdens off homeowners and better funding schools.
