The Combat Air Museum will host a scale model contest in conjunction with the Ad Astra Modeling Club on Saturday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The contest theme will be “Military Related from World War I to the Present Day.” Contest categories are Aircraft, Automotive, Armor, Naval & Water Vessels, Junior (age 17 and under), Dioramas, Legos, Spacecraft, Sci-Fi, Figures and Gundam.Awards will be presented in all categories along with Best in Show.

General public admission is $5 per person and includes up to two model entries per person, $1 for each model entry. Registration runs from 9 a.m. to noon; judging begins at noon and awards begin at 3 p.m. Registration forms are available and can be completed online at adastramodelingclub.org/2026show.Juniors (age 17 and under) can enter models for free.
