• Firefighters respond to Feldkamp's Furniture in Manhattan, 1 hospitalized (themercury.com) — Wamego Fire crews joined multiple departments Monday night to battle a structure fire at Feldkamp's Furniture along US Highway 24 near Manhattan, where smoke spread through the building and one firefighter was hospitalized for evaluation. The coordinated response involved 48 personnel and 15 apparatus, and state officials are now investigating the cause.
