March For Meals On Wheels – Champion's Week In Wichita City

This campaign takes place every March to raise awareness and funding to support homebound, isolated seniors living with food insecurities.

For the past 19 years Meals on Wheels America organizes a national campaign called “March for Meals”. This campaign takes place every March to raise awareness and funding to support homebound, isolated seniors living with food insecurities. Throughout this month numerous community champions such as healthcare professionals and social media bloggers came to Senior Services to deliver routes and promote our mission.

The week of March 22 – March 26, 2021 is nationally noted as “Champions Week.” Each “Champion” will start with an agency tour and overview at 10:00 am at 200 S. Walnut then accompany Senior Services employees on Meals on Wheels routes.
