Wichita Center residents on East 21st Street North were pumped up on St. Valentine's Day on Friday February 14 as staff gave them a huge celebration filled with sweets, music and just all around fun. Residents have been hard at work creating hearts with messages for their loved ones, family members, and friends who came to celebrate the holiday of romance and love, which is recognized throughout many regions of the world.

"Our residents are part of our family so it's very important to us that they enjoy our holiday celebrations we do all year long," said Lori Tackett, Administrator at Wichita Center. "Valentine's Day, especially, is one of those holidays that both love and creativity come together."

Resident Loretta Poole is very content with her "Be Mine" Valentine's Day heart.

It doesn't end here. Residents are already looking forward to Wichita Center's Mardi Gras party on February 25.
