Wichita Park & Rec Offers Holiday Events

Join Wichita Park & Recreation this holiday season for free and affordable family fun. Upcoming events include:

• "A Burro's Tale" story time with Pedro the burro at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27 at the Keeper of the Plains. The first 50 children in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
• A Night With Santa from 6:30-8:30pm on Thursday, December 5 at Century II. This free family event includes a visit with Santa, carnival games and drawings for fully decorated, live Christmas trees and children's bicycles.
• Watson's Christmas Express is taking registrations now through December 28. Listen to a reading of Chris Van Allsburg's "The Polar Express," followed by a craft and train ride to visit the North Pole. Enjoy s'mores and hot chocolate at the campfire circle while singing holiday songs. Register here:
