Call For Federal Financial Help For Renter In Louisville Area

Louisville – President David James (D-6) will join Councilman Scott Reed (R-16) and representatives of the Louisville Apartment Association for a news conference at 1:30 p.m. on May 11th.

The news conference will focus on a Resolution from the Metro Council which calls upon the US Congress to fund Emergency Rental Assistance in the next stimulus package as a result of COVID 19.

The Louisville Apartment Association represents nearly 65,000 rental units in Louisville Metro and the surrounding area.

The news conference will take place at Jefferson Square Park. Social Distancing Guidelines will be followed.
