Notice of Action on a Title V Operating Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to revise an operating permit for LLFlex, LLC (flexible packaging sheet materials made by coating or laminating purchased paper), 1225 W. Burnett Avenue, Louisville, 40210, in accordance with Regulation 2.16. This revision is to incorporate the Agreed Board Order (ABO) dated 11/18/2020. Designation as an area source for Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) through incorporation of permittee requested source-wide HAP limits (Single HAP < 10 tons per year (tpy), Total HAP < 25 tpy) to preclude applicability of 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 63 Subpart KK and 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart DDDDD. The 30-day public comment period starts July 15, 2021, and ends on August 16, 2021.

Copies of the application are available upon request. Written comments will be accepted at airpermits@louisvilleky.gov until midnight or at the District office until 5:00 p.m. on August 16, 2021.
