Historic Louisville City Hall Flags Fly In Remembrance Of Coronavirus Victims In Kentucky
There are currently 596 reported cases in Jefferson County of those who have tested positive for the virus.

Louisville – In remembrance of over 100 victims of the COVID 19 virus in Kentucky, President David James (D-6) has ordered the flags above Historic City Hall to fly at half-staff for one week.

“This is a time of unity. We join with other cities and citizens across the Commonwealth to let the families of more than 100 who have died know, you are in our thoughts and prayers,” said James.
As of Tuesday, Jefferson County has had a total of 45 deaths as a result of the virus. Governor Andy Beshear ordered flags on all state buildings to be flown at half-staff when he announced Monday the Commonwealth has had a total of 104 people die as a result of the disease. He asked everyone to fly their flags this way until next Monday morning.

On March 23rd, President James ordered the City Hall Clock Tower to shine in the color green as a sign of compassion and renewal for all who have been impacted by the COVID 19 virus.
