Louisville – Chief Steve Conrad will testify before the Public Safety Committee on Wednesday, December 4th on the latest reorganization for LMPD.

“I have invited the Chief to come before the committee and explain the reasons for these changes. My priority has always been public safety,” says Councilwoman Jessica Green (D-1), who chairs the Public Safety Committee. “It is important the committee stay on top of all these structural changes within LMPD.”

The Chair has also invited Dr. Ursula Mullins to update the committee on the pending closure and transition of Youth Detention Services to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Public Safety Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, Historic City Hall, 601 West Jefferson Street.

The meeting will be carried live on Metro TV, Spectrum Cable Channel 184 or on UVERSE at Channel 99.
