Louisville Councilwoman Dorsey Encourages Eligible Voters To Get Registered For The November Election
The event will be a chance to register to vote and have questions answered about how Jefferson County will handle voting on November 3rd.

Louisville- Monday, October 5th is the last day to register in Kentucky if you plan to vote in the November General Election. Councilwoman Keisha Dorsey (D-3) is putting out a reminder to all eligible voters: if you have not registered, you can do it this Saturday.

“Voting is the foundation of our democracy! It is not a privilege; it is a right! It is our job, as leaders, to empower and educate every citizen to take full advantage of that right by exercising their constitutional rights,” says Dorsey.
The Councilwoman is partnering with the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for a voter registration event at the church on Saturday, October 3rd beginning at 10:00 a.m. The event will be a chance to register to vote and have questions answered about how Jefferson County will handle voting on November 3rd.

Because of COVID-19, this year’s election will see many changes including limited polling locations, early voting and more absentee ballots requested.
The Antioch Missionary Baptist Church is located at 3315 Dixie Highway.
