Louisville Locust Grove Reopens To The Public
Each tour is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $6 for children 6 – 18 years old.

Historic Locust Grove will reopen to the public on Friday, July 24 after closing in mid-March due to COVID-19. The National Historic Landmark reopens with new hours and new tour offerings to accommodate new health and safety requirements.

“We’re excited to welcome guests back to the place where Louisville begins,” said Hannah Zimmerman, Locust Grove’s Marketing and Communications Director. “We’ve enjoyed interacting with everyone in virtual spaces for the past four months, and our virtual initiatives will continue, but we’re grateful for the opportunity to re-open and have guests visit in person.”
Locust Grove will offer self-guided tours of the historic house on Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays at quarter-hour increments from 12:00 – 3:00 pm. A guided, outdoor grounds tour will be offered on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 10:00 am. Masks will be required in all Locust Grove buildings, and social distancing guidelines will be observed and enforced at all times. Each tour is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $6 for children 6 – 18 years old. Additionally, the museum store and museum gallery will be open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm. Tickets to visit the gallery only are $6 for adults and $3 for children 6 – 18 years old.
