Louisville Updates From The Office Of Mayor Greg Fischer

Mayor Fischer has issued an Executive Order to loosen downtown traffic restrictions that were put into place last week to protect public safety. Specifically:

• Traffic restrictions and the parking ban from Broadway, north to Market Street, and from Second to Ninth streets are being lifted. Barriers along those routes are being removed.
• Jefferson and Liberty, between 5th and 6th streets; and 5th and 6th streets, between Jefferson and Liberty will remain temporarily restricted to pedestrian traffic only, with no parking.
• Restrictions on access to downtown parking garages that were in place to provide an extra layer of security for protests in and around Jefferson Square Park have also been lifted.
