The phone option complements online surveys that were announced late last week – one for LMPD employees and one for all residents. Residents who have internet access can participate in the community survey by visiting: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LMPDcommunitysurvey. The online LMPD employee survey is being shared within the Department.
Louisvillians, including LMPD employees, who would like to complete their respective survey by phone can call (312) 869-8500 to be assigned a representative who will schedule a time for the interview.

The surveys seek to understand the community’s perspective on the role of police personnel, police management and community relations in the city of Louisville – including the relationship between the LMPD and the people they serve. Additionally, the LMPD employee survey will measure employees’ attitudes, opinions and experiences.
The surveys also continue the community feedback portion of the Hillard Heintze review, which has included open sessions to inform community members about the review process and ongoing conversations with representatives of various community groups, LMPD, and elected officials.
Consultants at Hillard Heintze will manage the intake and analysis of all survey data. The city will not collect, view or retain any of the survey data.
Anyone who has questions or wants to weigh in further about the ongoing review of LMPD can email Hillard Heintze at LMKY@hillardheintze.com.
