• Franklin man accused of assaulting investigator (stmarynow.com) — Police report that a Franklin man was arrested on an aggravated assault on an officer charge after allegedly threatening a St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office investigator at a Ricohoc business, then later turning himself in. Additional recent arrests involving Franklin residents and warrants from Franklin Police and 16th Judicial District Court are also listed, with bond amounts and basic charge details.
