The study credits better facilities and clearer wayfinding, and airport leaders are planning long-term expansions with more gates, parking, and a new terminal that could affect how Kenner residents and visitors travel for decades.
   

• Lengthy prison sentences handed down after death of Super Bowl reporter (wwltv.com) — Two defendants received decades-long prison sentences after a tourist reporter was found dead in a Kenner hotel room while visiting for Super Bowl coverage. Prosecutors said a criminal ring targeted visitors in the French Quarter, with one defendant meeting the victim on Bourbon Street before returning to Kenner; an accomplice testified about a broader scheme to drug and rob men.
