• New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno provides update on city budget (wdsu.com) — New Orleans residents face a proposed $760 million city budget with no current cuts to NORDC, the Council on Aging, or the city workforce, according to Mayor Helena Moreno. She says a $100 million gap could shrink to $77 million with expected reimbursements, and the final budget plan is due by December 1.
