Nominate a New Orleans Top Workplace for 2027 (nola.com) β You can now nominate your New Orleans-area employer as a 2027 Top Workplace, with any organization of 35 or more local employees eligible and no cost to participate. Nominations are open through Nov. 6, and employees will complete a brief survey through January to determine which Greater New Orleans companies earn recognition next summer.

Terrebonne, Lafourche receive more than $11M in FEMA disaster recovery funds (houmatimes.com) β Louisiana communities are receiving $27.4 million in FEMA aid, including $1.4 million for the Archdiocese of New Orleans to repair St. Dominic School after Hurricane Ida. Other grants support ports, housing authorities, parishes, and infrastructure statewide, helping schools, utilities, and local governments continue long-term recovery from recent storms and saltwater intrusion.
