Applications Open For 2021 Shreveport Neighborhood Investment Program
Grants are intended to spur small, grassroots community projects.

The City of Shreveport Department of Community Development has released its Program Year 2021 Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) application. NIP offers small grants to neighborhood-based organizations in the city limits of Shreveport to do projects that improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. Grants range from $2,500 to $6,000. Grants are intended to spur small, grassroots community projects.

The city must be in receipt of an original and three (3) copies of the proposal complete with all attachments, on or before the above date. These deadlines are firm as to date and hour. Applications that arrive after the deadline or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Diskettes, facsimiles, will not be accepted. The application must be signed by the applicant’s Board Chairman, CEO, Director, or President. All proposals become the property of the city of Shreveport.
The submission deadline is January 18, 2021, at 5:00 pm.
