Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office: Caddo Deputies Investigate Deadly Shooting

BLANCHARD, La. - Caddo deputies are investing a shooting that left a man dead this morning, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Just before 4:30 a.m., the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of a shooting in the 200 Block of Sand Valley Lane in Blanchard.

Detectives learned a man had been shot. He was transported to an area hospital where he died.

Detectives and CSI are still investigating to find out exactly what happened but it appears to be a domestic case.

The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office will be releasing identity of the deceased.
