Caddo Sheriff Offers Live Scan Fingerprinting Service
With Live Scan, fingerprints are captured electronically and submitted to the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

Live Scan digital fingerprinting is now available to private employers, state agencies, and other entities through the Caddo Parish Sheriffβs Office, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

With Live Scan, fingerprints are captured electronically and submitted to the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Louisiana Department of Public Safety to positively identify and provide background checks on prospective employees or agents.
Fingerprinting services are conducted between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Caddo Sheriffβs Records Division at the Caddo Parish Courthouse, 501 Texas Street in Shreveport. No appointment is necessary, but fees do apply. Visit caddosheriff.org or call the Records Division at 681-0647 for more information on costs associated with Live Scan.
