SodexoMagic, dining services partner at Grambling State University, is nearing completion of a 5-million-dollar renovation of McCall Dining Hall.
A grand opening, set for January 8th, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will unveil the 20,000 square-foot facility which will seat over 500 students and feature a new live action grill and brick pizza oven.
"I think the student body will really enjoy their vision being brought to life, and I am so glad they chose us to be a part of it." SodexoMagic General Manager AJ Johnson.

New dining options include a Chefs Table as the main serving station with a rotating international menu; Bistro1901 comfort and soul food; the award-winning Simple Servings with a stand-alone rational oven which can blanch, steam, bake, and roast; a carving station; a deli; pasta station; a granary with an array of breads; a smoothie and juice bar; a salad station; and a plant-based, vegan concept.
The facility will also feature a state-of-the-art sound system, performance stage, game room, and two S.M.A.R.T. rooms where students can study or host meetings.

"The (SodexoMagic) leadership team on campus is doing an amazing job," said Grambling State University President Rick Gallot. “The investment in these upgrades reflects SodexoMagic’s commitment to our students to enhance the campus living, learning, and dining experience.”
Grambling State University, located in Grambling, Louisiana, is a historically black university founded in 1901. The 590-acre campus offers 43 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
