Seven LSU Shreveport Alumni Among The 40 Under Forty Class Of 2020
The honorees are Candice A. Battiste, Mallory Cooper, Michael Gould, Halena M. Jones, Kevin Nolten, Brittany Pike, and Erin Smith.

Louisiana State University Shreveport Alumni Association proudly recognizes seven alumni among the ranks of the 40 Under Forty Class of 2020 being honored by the Young Professionals Initiative and the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce.

“Each year’s class of honorees finds a host of LSUS alums being named to YPI’s 40 Under Forty, and this year is no exception,” affirmed Laura Beeman Nugent, Director of Alumni Affairs at LSUS. “I think it not only speaks to the level of leadership and education each alum gained while at LSUS but also to the caliber of student our university attracts.”
The alumni being honored are Candice A. Battiste, Mallory Cooper, Michael Gould, Halena M. Jones, Kevin Nolten, Brittany Pike, and Erin Smith. “Each of these seven honorees is a model example of the kind of professional leader LSUS produces. We are so proud of them,” said Nugent.These seven alumni, as well as the 33 other honorees, will be featured in the November edition of the 318 Forum and honored at the virtual gala in December. During the gala, the Young Professional of 2020 will be announced.
