• Remembering Philip Parrie, Jr. (sabineparishjournal.com) — Zwolle is mourning longtime resident Philip "Hemmie" Parrie Jr., who was born, lived, and passed away in town after nearly 70 years in the logging industry. Survived by his children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his funeral and burial were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church and cemetery, with family and logging coworkers honoring his life of hard work and community ties.
