Maine GOP Nominee 'MIA'

When the failed candidates for the Republican gubernatorial nomination in Maine got together to lick their wounds, they forgot to invite the guy who inflicted them.

Intentional? Obviously.

They made no mention of nominee Bobby Charles in the Facebook post of their post-primary "unity" dinner.

It wasn't until days later that one of the unsuccessful contenders decided to try to save face by posting on Facebook that, heck folks, they're all pulling for Bobby even though they 'forgot' to send him an invite.

That post was by Jim Libby, the pedantic college prof who exited the campaign after his staff was caught submitting counterfeit nominating petitions.

In the "unity dinner" picture on Facebook, Libby was surrounded on his right Ben Midgley, banned by Kalshi for betting on his own race, and on his left by Jonathan Bush, who has a history of wife beating.

At the head of the "unity dinner" table sat David Jones, who spent the lion's share of the primary campaign calling Charles a liar.

What a crowd, what a crowd, as Rodney Dangerfield would say.
