TV personality and Bush presidential cousin Billy Bush says a lawsuit he filed against a Maine boat company will be withdrawn.
Bush said he and Yachting Solutions of Rockport, Maine, “have worked out a nice plan together.”
“And, in fact, I’ve bought another boat from them. All worked out well and the suit is about to be withdrawn,” Bush told the Courier Gazette in Rockland, Maine.

The lawsuit was filed Jan. 18 in U.S. District Court in Portland, Maine.
According to the lawsuit, Bush signed an agreement with the Rockport company in May 2021 to buy a 26-foot long dual console boat. Bush paid the first two of three installments, totaling $171,475 and the vessel was to be delivered by July 1, 2021.

Following a series of emails between the parties, the vessel was still not delivered. The lawsuit claimed breach of contract and sought the return of the money paid to the company.
Yachting Solutions sells boats and provides services, such as restoration and customization.
Bush was anchoring the TV program Extra when it famously once caught Donald Trump on camera making fun of women while kibbutzing with Bush.
William Morong, founder and chief executive officer of Yachting Solutions, blamed the boat dispute with Bush on supply-chain delays in marine manufacturing that he said are straining relationships industry-wide.
“We are in a tough cycle right now, and there are buyers throughout the country with retail sold orders that are late, sometimes very late, coming from so many manufacturers, mostly due to engine or component supply issues," Morong said. "That said, labor shortages are also creating massive challenges for everyone industry-wide: Boat builders, engine and component manufacturers, boatyards, and dealers. It is completely understandable that frustrations get high.
"Thankfully a mutual friend and client got Billy and I directly in touch late last week — we hadn’t met or spoken one-on-one previously," Morong added. "Very quickly we developed a good rapport and relationship transitioning him into a different product that is available for this spring that he is excited about. Yachting Solutions very much looks forward to a continued relationship moving forward."
Before the cotroversial Trump tape went public, Bush had multiple television jobs, including on Access Hollywood.
In 2005, he was interviewing Trump and laughed when Trump boasted of being able to sexually assault women. That tape became public in 2016 just before the presidential election, which Trump won.
Bush is a cousin to former President George W. Bush. His uncle was the senior George Bush, former president.
