Peter Roberts, founder and CEO of Origin, told WMTW/Maine’s Total Coverage that his phone has not stopped with notifications since the photo was posted.
Roberts said he believes the hoodie belonged to a DEA agent and was given to Maduro to wear.
In an Instagram post shared by Origin showing Maduro in the hoodie, the caption reads, “Welcome to America. Unfortunately, our ‘patriot blue’ RTX shirt won’t be available again until spring.”
