“The Maine Outdoors” show, unceremoniously yanked from radio programming, “lives again,” says its co-host.

“We have found a brand new home at True Country 93.5, 96.1, and 96.5,” Catherine Gordon announced on Facebook.

The show, co-hosted by V. Paul Reynolds, former top editor of the Bangor Daily News, was cut from the lineup at northern Maine’s WVOM earlier this year.

Reynolds started the show more than 30 years ago but suddenly it was out of vogue with radio brass.

The “big premier” of the successor show kicks off at 7 p.m. Sunday “and is going to be an unforgettable, deeply special night as we come together to say our heartfelt goodbye to our original host, V. Paul Reynolds,” Gordon said.

“We’ve invited some special guests to weigh in on this official passing of the torch and to honor Paul’s massive legacy,” she added.
