• Maine Woman Pleads Not Guilty in Augusta Manslaughter Case After Crash That Killed Two Transportation Workers on Kennedy Memorial Drive On-Ramp (centralrecorder.com) — A Lewiston woman has pleaded not guilty in Augusta to manslaughter charges stemming from a January crash on the Kennedy Memorial Drive on-ramp that killed two Maine DOT workers. The case, which also led to a driving ban and $15,000 cash bail, continues to focus attention on work-zone safety and a tragedy that deeply affects the Augusta community.
   

• Wild Blueberry Land among new additions to Maine's most endangered places list (mainepublic.org) — A new list of Maine's most endangered places includes Handley Hall in Augusta, longtime home of the University of Maine at Augusta's architecture program. As UMA considers relocating the program, preservation advocates are spotlighting the building's future, alongside other threatened sites from Columbia Falls to Eastport and Bath, to encourage new stewards and investment.
   

• Building a stronger advancement and alumni relations program - University of Maine at Augusta (uma.edu) — University of Maine at Augusta is ramping up its advancement and alumni relations work, asking faculty and staff to help identify stories, donors, and program needs. The new push includes better data tools, coordinated fundraising, and clear instructions for routing donations through the Augusta-based Advancement Office so gifts are properly recorded, thanked, and used to support UMA students and programs.
