Augusta Drug Sweep: 12 Arrested
Maine police on Tuesday said they arrested 12 people in Augusta and seized $10,000 worth of heroin and cocaine in a series of drug raids.
AUGUSTA, ME β Twelve people were arrested and $10,000 worth of drugs were seized in a series of police raids in Augusta Tuesday, authorities announced. The effort was the culmination of a months-long undercover investigation led by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Augusta police, the Kennebec County Sheriff's office, and state police.
The investigation targeted heroin distribution in the capital, said Maine DEA Commander Peter Arno.

- Jordan Ascencio, 20, (male) of Roxbury, Mass. Charged with Class B conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin/Crack).
- Sergio Figueroa, 21, of Roxbury, Mass. Charged with Class B conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin/Crack).
- Jose Lewis Figueroa, 24, of Roxbury, Mass. Charged with Class B conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin/Crack).
- Kidante Roberts, 21, of Boston, Mass. Charged with Class B conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin/Crack).
- Emanuel Rocgue, 39, of Augusta, Maine. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated due to the presence of a handgun.
- Dalene Black, 34, (female) of Augusta, Maine. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated due to the presence of a handgun.
- Philip Theriault, 43, of Augusta, Maine. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the trafficking occurred within a designated βdrug free safe zoneβ.
- Jessie Clark, 34, (female) of Augusta, Maine. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the trafficking occurred within a designated βdrug free safe zoneβ.
- Corey Collamore, 30, of China, Maine. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the trafficking occurred within a designated βdrug free safe zoneβ.
- Dixie Gauthier, 38, of Wiscassett, Maine. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the trafficking occurred within a designated βdrug free safe zoneβ.
- Lisa Gosselin, 41, of Wiscassett, Maine. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the trafficking occurred within a designated βdrug free safe zoneβ.
- Michael Gregg, 51, of Augusta, Maine. Charged with Class C possession of Schedule W Drugs.
"This investigation is continuing and more arrests are likely," Arno said in a statement.
Police said they seized 50 grams of crack cocaine, 12 grams of heroin, five guns (including a stolen one), and $4,000 in cash from drug sales. The street value of the drugs is $10,000, police said.
