Brewer High School and Hampden Academy linking up for fundraiser
Cheerleading squads to reveal winner of Links of Hope challenge at basketball game tonight, Jan. 17, 7 p.m., Brewer HS
Neighbors in the Penobscot County area are being asked to support their favorite high school cheer squad - Hampden Academy Broncos or Brewer Witches in the first "Links of Hope Cheer Challenge."
These rivals have had a friendly competition going on now to see who can collect the most donations for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Penobscot County (http://www.RelayForLife.org/PenobscotME) by selling paper links at $1 a piece.
Neighbors are invited to see which squad has the longest chain of hope during their Coaches vs. Cancer boys basketball game TONIGHT Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m., at Brewer High School, 79 Parkway S, Brewer.

Anyone who would like to support them is encouraged to look for these squads in their schools and communities.
