Please join us November 17 at 4:00 p.m. in the Charles Danforth Gallery in Jewett Hall for an artist’s talk and reception for the exhibition “Galen Cheney: The Ecstatic Tear.”

The exhibition contains eleven new large colorful paintings by North Adams, Massachusetts-based painter Galen Cheney. The artist’s process-driven paintings explore emotion, spirituality, and the flow of energy by harnessing the artistic potential of both destruction and creation.

The exhibition is on view in the Danforth Gallery from November 10 until December 17.
