YMCAs from across Southern Maine have spent the past four weeks helping kids embrace health and fitness.

Fit to Win is a four-week community based program that gets children excited about fitness exercises and healthy lifestyle habits. Each week, with the help of a motivational and instructional video from Celtics mascot Lucky the Leprechaun, children from local YMCAs learned new exercise sets and healthy life style habits. On Tuesday, 50 kids got the chance to celebrate with Lucky, former Celtics forward Leon Powe and Celtics dancer Tinaiya and the YMCA of Southern Maine as the program came to a close.

The YMCAs of Southern Maine: Northern York, Pineland, Casco Bay, and Greater Portland participated. They were able to see their tracked fitness and health habit results, and received Celtics themed prizes.
