• Lack of Maine Preservation maintenance leads to historic site breakdown (foxbangor.com) — Historic tombs at Eastport's Hillside Cemetery have been named among Maine's most endangered sites, after years of deferred maintenance and harsh freeze-thaw damage. Preservation advocates warn that underground brick chambers and retaining walls are deteriorating, while also spotlighting another threatened landmark, the Wild Blueberry Land attraction in Columbia Falls.
